These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover event services you hire us for; those are set out in a separate written agreement.

This website is run by Eventing Tech LLC, a California limited liability company (Secretary of State file number 202123910411) whose address is 3400 Cottage Way, Ste G2 #7454, Sacramento, CA 95825, United States ("Eventing Tech", "we", "us" or "our"). You can contact us at inquire@eventingtech.com.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You must be 18 or older to use this website. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18. If you are under 18, please do not use this website or contact us.

2. Our services

The website describes the event technology services we offer. It is general information, not an offer that can be accepted. Any work we do for you, including what we provide, the price, payment, cancellation and responsibilities, is governed only by a written proposal or agreement signed or accepted by both of us. If that agreement conflicts with anything on this website, the agreement wins.

3. Using the website

You may use this website for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any related system;
• introduce viruses or other harmful code, or interfere with the website working properly, including by overloading it;
• use automated tools to copy or scrape the website's content in bulk, except for search engine indexing.

We may change, suspend or withdraw the website, or restrict access to it, at any time.

4. Content and trademarks

The text, design, code and graphics on this website are owned by Eventing Tech or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the website and print or save pages for your own use, for example to share with colleagues while planning an event. You may not otherwise copy, republish or sell its content without our written permission.

"Eventing Tech" and our logo are our trademarks. Photographs on this website are used under the Unsplash License, and their photographers are credited in the footer of each page. Other names and marks belong to their owners.

5. The demos

The live poll, badge printer and audience questions on the home page are demonstrations. They run only in your browser, nothing you enter is sent to us, and they do not show real data from any event.

6. Links to other websites

Where the website links to other websites, those links are for your information only. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

7. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, including the fact that this website uses no cookies.

8. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the website will be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or up to date.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventing Tech and its members, managers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, and the disclaimer and limitations above apply only to the extent your local law permits.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the website, are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer living in the EU, EEA or UK, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

11. General

• Changes. We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. The version in force when you use the website applies.
• Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• No waiver. If we do not enforce any part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms, for example as part of a sale of our business.
• Entire agreement. These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the website. They do not replace any separate agreement for services.
